well yea, for this length i've done about 500-700 depending on the quality i want or the type of animation. i'm not saying it's not well done, i just find it funny that the little daily deviation blurb puts so much emphasis on the number of frames when they could've mentioned something more impressive, like your nice morphs.
Maybe the number put the technique in general in perspective. I mean, all the frame count really means is the frames per second you shoot it at. so, i don't really think that is special either, but then again, deviantArt doesn't think that putting video in a different category than "film" is something that would be smart, even though i can give you a ton of people that would hurt you for saying video is film.
